Performance experience is, or should be, an integral element of each dancer's training and development. Dance is a performing art, not a classroom skill, and Cheshire Dance Centre is committed to providing young artists with ample opportunity to learn from the joys and challenges of the stage.

Serious students of dance are invited to join the Seibert Dancers. In addition to classes in all disciplines of dance, students receive training in make-up, dance history, and dance-related subjects of music and art. Field trip opportunities offer study with other teachers, master classes, museum trips, and professional performances in New York City and Boston.

The quality and high standards established by this training ensure that students of this discipline can effectively achieve the performance requirements set by the choreographer, even if these dancers have not previously performed together.

The Seibert Dancers often perform with Cecchetti Ballet Theatre (CBT), also under the direction of Ms. Seibert. CBT has performed a variety of both classical and more contemporary works in New England, including Peter and the WolfLe Pas de Quatre, and original choreography to Bach's Brandenburg Concerto #5. Seibert Dancers also have the opportunity to perform short programs at events such as the Cheshire Fall Festival each year.

Members of the Seibert Dancers have also performed with the Ilya Gaft Dance Theatre of New York City; the North Country Ballet Ensemble; the American Repertory Ballet Company; and Apollo's Banquet, also of New York City.
